Secretariat of the Civil Expert Council at the Ukrainian Part of the EU-Ukraine Cooperation Committee invites experts to participate in the discussion of the Swedish-Polish Proposal "Eastern Partnership". Texts of the letter and the proposal are available below in Ukrainian.
За ініціативи УНЦПД (Віталія Мартинюка, члена робочої групи № 8) виникла ідея організувати в рамках роботи Громадської ради експертне обговорення ініціативи "Східне партнерство". Як відомо, зараз Європейська Комісія на виконання рішення Європейської Ради від 1 вересня готує Повідомлення щодо Східного партнерства, яке має бути оприлюднене у грудні. Днями у Києві проходили консультації з цього питання за участю представників з Європейської Комісії. Наразі ідея Східного партнерства мало обговорюється в експертному середовищі України (з різних міркувань), але ми можемо вплинути на наповнення поки що досить загальної ідеї конкретним змістом, який буде цікавий Україні.

CPS representative took part in the e-PINE conference and high-level meeting with political directors. The e-PINE initiative unites eight Baltic and Nordic countries and the United States to promote mutual understanding, cooperation and joint initiatives in the region. Conference, organized in Vilnius, touched upon the issues of NATO Membership Action Plans for Ukraine and Georgia.

The Program includes the CPS projects on the European Union, Council of Europe, European integration of Ukraine, in-service training of civil servants, role plays, roundtables, conferences, public awareness-raising campaigns and events (including "Europe Days").
