The Center's CBC Program a new one, aimed at strengthening the capacity to develop cross-border cooperation (CBC) projects on regional and local levels.
Basically, CBC is currently not such a fully fledged program as abovementioned ones, but it is rather a number of interesting activities and contacts with foreign and domestic partners (both from the civil society sector and in administrations), that tend to transform into a promising area of the Center's activity. One of the CPS representatives was invited by the Regional Administration to be a member of the regional selection committee on CBC projects, but the committee has not convened since its creation, due to lack of capacity at the local and regional level, to prepare CBC cooperation projects, which are to be submitted to the committee.

GG Program includes projects on regional and local self-government, participation and inclusion, citizenship practices, school and university self-governance.
This is the oldest area of the Center's activity, which earned the CPS its high reputation in the mid 1990s and won it back in mid 2000s, when the new team came to CPS. The Center has realized a number of international grants (above) and continues to implement as part of its daily operations, a variety of activities, aimed at bringing the concept of good governance closer to Ukrainian local and regional authorities, as well as to community members, first of all, youth. To achieve better quality of training and public advocacy activities, CPS managers and volunteers participate in international trainings on European Citizenship, municipal hearings on respective European Charters' implementation in Ukraine, roundtables etc.

This CPS Program includes advising on education opportunities in Ukraine and abroad, publishing of the e-bulletin "EurOsvita", recruitment events for the CEU, student counseling, English Speaking Club and Polish Film Club, TOEFL, GMAT consultations, etc.
Within this program, there functions a resource center on international education, free trainings are offered on practical skills (how to write winning applications, CVs, cover letters, statements of purpose), consultations on passing standard exams (TOEFL, GMAT), there works the English Speaking Club – free of charge opportunity for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students to improve their command of English, as well as the Polish Film Club – an opportunity to learn Polish language and culture through movies. This CPS Program includes projects on youth, including those within the "Youth in Action" EU Program, youth policy, support of youth European clubs, volunteering, youth advocacy.
Within the program, the CPS supports youth initiatives towards realizing of the European choice for youth. There works a resource center for local Youth European Clubs in the Donetsk region (primarily, school-based), youth is attracted to work as volunteers (including Europe Days, international conferences, trainings, etc), partnerships are established to enable the participation of Donetsk youth in a number of international youth exchanges and cultural events within the EU Program "Youth in Action", consultations and advocacy events are conducted to propose legislation on the regional level concerning youth (in particular, during the drafting of the regional program on family and youth for 2008-2011). The Program includes the CPS projects on the European Union, Council of Europe, European integration of Ukraine, in-service training of civil servants, role plays, roundtables, conferences, public awareness-raising campaigns and events (including "Europe Days").
Within this program, European Information and Documentation Center functions at the CPS, a group of experienced trainers-members of the "Expert Team Ukraine for Europe" (projects supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the International Renaissance Foundation), is always prepared to conduct role plays on European integration "Shaping the Future of Europe", "Europe and Crisis: Algerian Scenario" etc., weekly radio airs on the regional state radio on European integration take place, as well as monthly trainings on European integration for civil servants, conducted together with the Donetsk Regional Center for In-service Training of Civil Servants, annual conferences on European studies take pla
