The presentation covered such issues as the history of European integration and the creation of the Council of Europe, its structures and major documents on self-governance and socio-economic rights. The reviewed European Social Charter was presented, as well as the current state of implementation of the Charter in Ukraine since 1 February 2007, when it became officially valid for Ukraine.

CPS representative Sergiy Shtukarin spoke on the issue of building a cooperative society (vs. the society of redistribution). He briefly described the activities CPS performs to educate youth to value the values of open society.
