Public opinion poll, conducted by the Donetsk-based Center for Political Studies, has shown, that nine out of ten local residents experienced the influence of the economic crisis, while almost half of citizens believe that it was caused not by the global crisis, but by domestic factors. 48 % of respondents consider that solution to the crisis could be in mass protests, while 47 % of Donetsk dwellers are ready to participate in them.
 
On 19-25 February the Center for Political Studies conducted a public opinion poll among the residents of Donetsk on topical socio-economic and political issues. The main aim of the poll was to learn the opinion of city residents on the problem of the economic crisis in Ukraine.
